Nestled in the heart of nature, our property boasts a huge wraparound deck with sun-soaked views of the farm fields and rich woodlands in every direction.

The chalet retreat is located just 25 minutes east of Peterborough and 5 minutes from the town of Hastings, which has all amenities and is the gateway into the Trent River and world-famous Rice Lake. If you want to venture out for some hiking, fishing, boating, exploring, just kick back, this private spacious home is perfect.

Great Get Away with family
Stayed here over the Christmas holidays to be nearby family. Was more than we needed really!! Great kitchen. Clean bathrooms and bedrooms. Comfy beds. Laundry on site. Private. No complaints!!

Amazing cottage
We had the best time at this cottage. It was beautiful and huge. We loved the large outdoor area, the fire pit, barbecue, and the design of everything inside. The place looks newly built, so there are a few little things that could still be improved. For example, we wish that there were mosquito nets on the windows. Some drawers in the kitchen would get a little stuck, and the dishwasher had some issues. Despite it all, the host was extremely nice, responsive and helpful. I’d absolutely recommend this cottage to others and would definitely stay here again.

Country Chalet - Peace and Quiet
Lovely rural location. Great with our dog. Natural activities. The host was great with the right amount of care and interaction. If you want a nice quiet place to unwind and relax... this works! Thanks Neil!
