The property itself was amazing! Even with the limited amount of space in the room. The way they have it set up, works! It gave us a Tokyo pod feel. The lobby was straight up sexy, a very dope vibe. However... the surrounding neighborhood was sketch! It is FULL of homeless people everywhere. Some streets smell like straight up human feces and urine. I would not be caught dead out there at night. Even with my 6ft boyfriend I still felt uneasy. But inside the hotel it was perfectly safe. They have 3 people at the door and security day and night. To get in the lobby after hours you need your room key etc. I would stay at this or other CitizensM hotel.

The stay was great! The rooms aren’t big but they are cozy and comfy with modern touches. The staff was great as well. Only downside is the hotel is located very close to Skid Row but if you stay clear from that area you’re good.
