We got two Ottawa Friday February 16 as a large group. We booked two rooms at Les Suites. Upon our arrival, we checked in and it was quite a lengthy rooms. As per our request, our rooms were adjoining. The room weren’t very clean, there was garbage under the beds and it wasn’t vacuumed in a long time. The worse of the situation comes at night time. In one of the rooms, one of the ladies was heading off to bed and to our surprise discovered baby cockroaches under the bed. We then called downstairs and a manager came upstairs to our room on the 8th floor to confirm that yes it’s cockroaches and that the room would be fumigated in the morning. However to our surprise, no company came to fumigate the room as there was new people in the room the next day. We were moved to a room on a lower level at 12:30am and let me say, it was much smaller and it did not have the two bathrooms as in the first one. We spoke to the hotel manager on duty and he told us that there was nothing he could do as not all two bedroom suites had two bathrooms. So I guess their website is not accurate!! As their website doesn’t state that two bathrooms are not guaranteed. If it’s for 6 individuals, then their should be two bathrooms. The manager also told us there was nothing he could do and we couldn’t get a new room or discount as it was booked through Expedia. After the Terrible experience of cockroaches and being moved to a way smaller room, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
