When I first arrived at the hotel I noticed it was kinda of dingy looking with paint pealing off the walls Two of the elevator base boards were torn off and one of the elevtor panels was coming apart which made it so the L and 2nd flr button not work correctly. The first room I was in had a rusty tub and a hole in the bathmat, so they gave us another room. The second room we stayed in, had a dirty wall, rusty tub drain and a filthy body towel. There was also extremely loud noise for an hour, due to children running up and down the hallways. My first time in Illinois and the worst 3 night stay ever! No hospitality!

Waking up Sunday morning and no hot water. No notice to guests, and no apologies. Just a statement by an unfriendly desk clerk that it was a building wide problem and they are working on it.

Call front desk and he says tome Oh Yea we’re having issues with the HOT WATER and that was that !!!!! Business trip and couldn’t shower I’ll never stay here again and the only thing they could say was SORRY

This is always my go-to hotel when in Chicago and it is clean and comfortable. However, I did ask for at least one day (out of my 5-days) to have a full service for housekeeping (sheets changed, room cleaned, everything restocked) but that never happened. The elevators do need some renovation, my friends and I got stuck for about a minute or so. The panel wasn’t quite connected in that elevator. Otherwise everyone was very nice and property is decent because it is right in the Oak Brook shopping area so lots of options and there is always something going on in the bar.
