Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast, but the room we were in was in disrepair. Bathroom fan, doorknob, fixtures were falling apart. Bed was not very comfortable.

the manager was totally unprofessional, the front desk staff were mildly helpful dependant on the staff and women are NOT safe here, especially if they’re alone.

With regard to the location of the property, We’ve been part of the community for over 45 years. During this time, we have never experienced anything that would jeopardize the safety and security of our guests, which we take very seriously. The Good Samaritan Centre provides a vital service to the City and the area, and while it is true from time to time may look unsafe, or rough the persons associated with that Centre, are citizens who need help and the Centre provides that to them. We do hope that when your travels bring you back to Sudbury that you will join us so that we can once again provide you with the service that we are known to provide to all our guests.Also, after speaking with you about your stay, our security cameras were reviewed. The alleged confrontation by 2 men who were aggressive to the point that you felt attacked and harassed was not able to be confirmed. While this was reported to have happened in the lobby, the cameras do show that you and the other guests where in the lobby, however, neither one approached each other in any manner. Any issues with other guests, like noise complaints, should not be addressed by the guest them selves, as in this situation. They should be reported directly to the staff. Reason for this, is that situations may escalate to a point were the staff may have little options to assist.

Great hotel. Very clean. Comfortable mattress. Central location. The Indian restaurant attached was amazing. Staff were professional, polite and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
