While the property & resort itself are impressive, our experience was marred by disappointing food & service. Throughout our stay, even after over tipping every staff member encountered, we rarely received a warm welcome or even a smile, leading us to believe they may be overworked and under payed. Despite having stayed at over 15 all-inclusive resorts in Mexico & Jamaica, we've never encountered service as disappointing as this. Regrettably, this will be our last visit to the Dominican Republic, as the resort did not live up to the reviews and ratings we relied on. The only activity we booked, through a third-party vendor within the hotel,** Momo** with “Water Fun Company”, turned out to be a terrifying & unsafe experience, especially with our young children (ages 2 &6) . Despite clearly expressing our desire for a private & relaxing family activity, the reality was far from it. This deceptive & dangerous experience was the low point of our entire vacation, & we strongly advise against trusting even vendors on property. We're grateful to have returned safely, but the experience was far from what we expected. On a positive note, the resort's spa facilities were exceptional, with Maria providing the best massage we've ever had. Additionally, the beach was stunning. However, these highlights were overshadowed by the overall disappointment of our stay. We urge future vacationers to consider other resorts or destinations altogether, as this was undeniably our worst vacation.

Really nice place to go if you’re single and want to just getaway. Also great for couples. I will say that even though it accommodates families, trying to get a table for dinner and hearing screaming children constantly will make the experience sour. Other than that, I had a wonderful experience.
